Write Girl Book Design

challenge: Design and layout an Anthology that includes the poetry of over 50 girls and mentors, in a way that reflects the energy and passion their work conveys.

result: A true labor of love! The graphics on each page were created from printed, arranged, and photographed letterforms (resulting in over 2,500 original images) meant to visually convey the collection of words/thoughts within the poetry itself. The anthology has won a dozen awards so far. I’d like to think the design had a hand in that!
